PALM DESERT, CA — The Palm Desert Aquatic Center will close out its "dive-in" movie series Saturday with a screening of "Super Mario Brothers."
The $5 event will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the water of the aquatic center, located at 73751 Magnesia Falls Drive.
"Bring the kids, towels, a blanket and your swimsuits and be prepared to sing along and enjoy this interactive engaging tale," PDAC officials said. "With limited seating poolside, guests are encouraged to bring towels for the grass areas."
The screening series got underway May 26 with "Encanto," and continued June 16 with "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish," "Sonic The Hedgehog 2" July 14, and "Surf's Up" Aug. 11.
No outside chairs, furniture, food or beverages will be allowed into the aquatic center, but food trucks will be onsite with snacks and treats, according to PDAC officials.
Limited pool areas and slides will be open from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
