We're all on a quest for a better night's sleep so it's fair to say we've been intrigued to try a silk eye mask that has been making waves on Instagram of late.
The Drowsy Silk Sleep Mask has recently gone viral, with celebrity fans including Trinny Woodall calling it one of her nightly must-haves. She's not the only famous face who loves the silk eye mask either – it's been spotted on the IG feeds of everyone from Vogue Williams to Winnie Harlow.
Discussing her "perfect ingredients for a good night's sleep" on Instagram last year, the beauty guru Trinny called it a "bedtime essential" for helping block out the light without leaving unwanted marks on your face, as can happen with most eye masks.
"I love it," she said of the silk eye mask. "It's from Drowsy. You put it on and you just have nowhere where you're going to get marks around your face. I just have a phenomenal night's sleep."
The Mulberry silk mask has definitely caught our eye – and not just because it comes in several chic colours, including Trinny's Midnight Blue option.
Dubbed as the "ultimate anti-ageing silk eye mask" and made from 100% pure Mulberry silk, the Drowsy offers total blackout thanks to its wide-cushioned design that completely blocks out light without feeling heavy or restrictive. It's breathable and hypoallergenic with adjustable head straps that won't dig in or leave you with marks.
The amino acids in silk are thought to help prevent premature ageing while keeping your skin hydrated, and its smooth surface also limits friction on the delicate eye area, as well as on your hair to help reduce damage and split ends. If you've ever tried a silk pillowcase, then you'll know all about the beauty benefits of sleeping on silk.
The Drowsy sleep mask is described as "cloud-like" with countless glowing reviews singing its praises for a deep, uninterrupted night's sleep.
